Job Description

BESS technology is the backbone of the energy transition, but its operational success depends on precision. A BESS asset produces roughly 100 times more data than a comparable PV plant. To manage this, we are moving beyond simple monitoring toward advanced Technical Asset Management (TAM).

We are establishing a dedicated BESS department where data isn't just stored-it's utilized. Your mission: Help us harness massive data streams to optimize battery health, minimize degradation, and ensure peak technical performance. Join us in Bendorf to build the future of data-driven energy operations. To support our team at our Bendorf or Munich location, we are looking for a Working Student Technical Asset Management BESS (m/f/d) to start immediately.

What you will do

  • System Implementation: Assist in the rollout of the 3E Synaptiq monitoring system.
  • Department Growth: Help build and structure the Support Department for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Data Analytics: Participate in the evaluation and analysis of BESS operational data.
  • Project Support: Provide hands-on assistance to our Project Managers.
  • Ticket Management: Create, maintain, and track support tickets within our internal ticketing system.
  • Helpdesk Interface: Support the internal interface between technical support and the helpdesk.
  • Data Maintenance: Maintain data across various platforms (Kix, FRM, SharePoint, Odoo, Excel, Knowledge Database, etc.).
  • Independent Projects: Work autonomously on assigned projects within the department.

What you will need to succeed

  • Education: You are a currently enrolled student in a technical or business-related field of study.
  • Technical Affinity: You have a solid technical understanding and enjoy working with various digital tools.
  • Work Ethic: You enjoy working independently, remain flexible, and contribute your own ideas.
  • Software Skills: You possess excellent MS Office skills and maintain a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Languages: You have a good command of both German and English.
