European Energy is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead mission critical initiatives to strengthen the organization's foundation.
We are looking for an experienced candidate with 10+ years of experience to take the role of Programme Manager in the Group Transformation to lead mission-critical initiatives for European Energy.
Our 900+ employees at European Energy develop, construct and operate renewable assets across 25 markets. With a robust pipeline exceeding 60 GW across Solar, Onshore Wind, Offshore Wind, Batteries, Power-to-X and Carbon Capture, we are positioned to further expand our position as a leading player in the global shift towards sustainable energy. Group Transformation is a team anchored within the CIO area, an international and engaged group of 50+ people with diverse backgrounds, both business and digital savvy.
We focus on enabling effective, business-driven transformation across EE. Our team of 10+ works in close collaboration with the rest of the company, combining strategic transformation expertise with digital capabilities to support the business in a more integrated and cohesive way.

Our team reports directly to the company CIO, and you will be reporting to the Head of Group Transformation.
How you will create impact
We offer an opportunity to take on a programme leadership role in the renewables sector with great responsibility and a tangible impact on the global challenges of climate change. You will specifically take on responsibilities such as:
- Shape and implement a best‑in‑class operating model and drive hands-on transformation on the business.
- Lead and support project managers to deliver strategic initiatives and key workstreams.
- Drive a unified programme delivery framework from intake to full implementation of transformation initiatives.
- Plan and execute large‑scale strategic and IT/digital projects using hybrid delivery models.
- Translate business objectives into manageable work packages and ensure successful implementation.
- Act as the link between development, implementation and business stakeholders.
- Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, issues, budgets and benefits to senior management.
- Identify risks and interdependencies early, propose recommendations and own mitigation plans.
- Track company‑wide progress on strategic priorities and advise top management on corrective actions.

What we look for
You are an experienced, team-oriented individual with strong analytical and leadership capabilities. You problem solve and possess a solid toolbox, and are always curious and ready to tackle challenges with a positive yet decisive viewpoint. You have hands-on experience with technology and implementation projects involving diverse stakeholder groups. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to interact seamlessly with senior stakeholders and individuals at all organizational levels.
You find exposure to stakeholders motivating and would like to support driving change and taking the company through its scale-up phase, while tackling some of the biggest issues of our time in a changing energy industry.
Your first assignment will be dedicated to supporting the implementation of foundational processes and digital solutions to support the modernization of our Document Management, Divestment Readiness Processes, and other supporting value streams.
The ideal candidate will have a background that includes some of the following elements:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or similar experience
- A large appetite to take on or continue team leadership indirectly for colleagues in the business via programme leadership
- 10+ years of continuous project, programme and process management experience with large, complex and global corporate projects, transformations or post-merger integrations - preferably bridging business with IT, at a senior level, including in unstructured environments
- Experience in performance management, monitoring, and reporting to senior management
- A strong and empathetic team player with great people skills, a can-do attitude. and capabilities within change management
