Job Description

As a Construction Manager within our Renewables business, you will take full ownership of delivering large-scale solar, wind, and hybrid energy assets. From planning through commissioning, you will ensure safe, high-quality execution that meets schedule and budget targets. This is your opportunity to lead impactful projects that drive India's clean energy transformation.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain detailed Site Execution Plans, including resource schedules, logistics strategies, and work breakdown structures for renewable energy projects.
- Direct all civil, mechanical, electrical, and SCADA works, ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, contractual requirements, and industry codes.
- Champion a zero-tolerance safety culture through site audits, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and compliance with corporate HSE standards.
- Coordinate pre-commissioning, SAT, and commissioning activities with vendors, grid operators, and Owner's Engineer to achieve grid synchronization and COD.
- Oversee EPC contractor performance, certify progress invoices, manage NCR tracking, and validate as-built documentation for handover.
- Interface with local authorities, utilities, landowners, and community representatives to secure permits, clearances, and site access.
- Monitor project budgets, track cost variances, and deliver weekly and monthly progress reports to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 12+ years of construction management experience in large-scale renewable energy or power transmission projects in India.
- Proven track record delivering 100 MWp or larger solar projects from ground-breaking to COD.
- Hands-on experience with EPC contracting models, quality systems, and commissioning of 33/132/220 kV substations and transmission lines.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and standard ERP modules for procurement and finance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire multi-disciplinary teams and contractors under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive, data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Location
Rajasthan, India - Project site locations. This is a fully on-site role based at active construction sites. Willingness to work in remote environments is essential.
