We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Commercial department of the Ignitis Renewables team. In this role, you will enhance commercial operations by performing commercial optimization calculations, supporting automation and system development, and delivering analytical insights that strengthen operational performance. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by
- Monitoring offtake portfolio risks and preparing regular reports with insights for portfolio optimisation
- Supporting monthly invoicing, reconciliation and reporting processes related to trade contracts, renewable assets and TSO balancing agreements
- Estimating Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Contract for Difference (CFD) delivery profiles for wind, solar and BESS projects to support balanced risk and return decisions
- Preparing PPA pricing inputs for projects in development and M&A pipelines
- Delivering quantitative analyses to support internal and external stakeholder decision-making
- Automating repetitive calculations and data transfer tasks to improve data accuracy, efficiency and reporting quality
- Supporting procurement-related reporting by preparing Excel and Power BI reports and mapping contract, invoice and operational data
- Contributing to BESS demand evaluation in the Baltics and Poland by developing and maintaining relevant analytical frameworks
Required for this position
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working in an analytical role in either business or academia
- Excellent computing skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Power BI)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze complex issues and communicate solutions in a clear and simple manner
- Coding experience for data analysis (e.g., VBA, R, Python, or similar)
- Apache Airflow and Gitlab experience would be an advantage
- Understanding of statistics and financial modelling principles
- Familiarity with energy market operating principles would be an advantage
- Fluency in English with strong communication and collaboration abilities

Salary range for this position group
is 2520 to 3780 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
