Job Description

Our client provides a software platform used by renewable energy professionals to plan, price, and deliver installation projects more efficiently. The platform supports both residential and commercial projects and is used by a wide range of companies in the clean energy space to run their operations with greater accuracy and consistency.

About the Team

The Account Management team supports customers across several Western European markets once they've come on board, with the goal of helping them realize real value from the platform over time. The team focuses on driving usage, maintaining strong customer relationships, and identifying ways customers can get more out of the product.

You'll work directly with installation companies, contractors, and project developers in the renewable energy sector, staying close to how their needs shift as their businesses grow, and matching that against what the platform can offer. This role blends commercial thinking with a solid grasp of the product, both of which are central to helping customers expand while supporting broader industry growth.

You'll partner regularly with colleagues across sales, product, marketing, support, and enablement to make sure customers have consistent access to the right resources and guidance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts, with a focus on retention, product adoption, and account growth
  • Handling contract renewals and commercial discussions, including early renewals and custom pricing arrangements
  • Building account plans together with customer stakeholders aimed at long-term usage growth and partnership value
  • Identifying expansion opportunities within your accounts through proactive outreach and leads passed on from marketing
  • Drawing on usage patterns and customer feedback to anticipate growth opportunities and get ahead of any risk of churn
  • Leading senior-level check-ins and strategic conversations focused on goals, progress, and value delivered
  • Working closely with colleagues in product, technical pre-sales, implementation, support, and marketing to solve customer problems and uncover new opportunities

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales, ideally within software, energy, or a related industry
  • A track record of growing accounts through renewals and additional sales
  • Solid commercial skills, including experience negotiating contracts and pricing
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and working through more complex customer organizations
  • Comfortable using data and customer feedback to guide adoption efforts and spot risk early
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach across teams
  • Good organizational habits, including experience managing pipeline and renewals through a CRM system
  • Strong English skills required; additional European languages are an advantage
