As working student, you will be part of the wider RWE Renewables Australia's Australia Operations team, supporting solar, battery and wind projects. This role provides an opportunity for an electrical engineering university student to gain hands on experience in renewable energy project operations, applying your theoretical knowledge in a real world, high-growth industry. Job requirements and experience
- Support the coordination and implementation of operational activities for RWE Australia
- Support reviews of current site management plans to incorporate BESS inputs
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical issues impacting performance or reliability
- Contribute to reviewing and optimising SCADA and remote monitoring data
- Support preparation of technical reports, work instructions, contractor management plans and compliance documentation
- Support development of reporting templates and tools
- Maintain accurate filing and record retention in the Document Management System (DMS) to ensure compliance and efficient retrieval of information
Your profile
- Australian University student ideally studying in penultimate year of electrical engineering
- Australian citizenship or work rights
- Intercultural understanding and openness in working with different cultures
- Very good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Firm knowledge of Microsoft office skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong analytical & skills with a creative mindset, curiosity and proactiveness approach
