Job Description

SOLV Energy's Operational Technology Solutions (OTS) services organization provides industry-leading customer service and maximizes energy production of utility-scale renewable generation plants. The OTS Project Manager, O&M Services is responsible for supporting all aspects of the SOLV O&M portfolio relative to OTS services activities.

This role is hybrid, with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop WBS and define task dependencies for technical scopes of work
  • Manage project schedules and budgets to achieve desired project outcomes on time and within budget
  • Assemble project requirements to help define project scope and generate proposals
  • Manage the design, configuration, deployment and commissioning of SCADA retrofits
  • Facilitate project status meetings with key stakeholders
  • Interface directly with project stakeholders to collect project documentation; stakeholders may include, owners / operators, utility personnel, field personnel and other internal business teams.
  • Manage multiple OTS Services projects simultaneously
  • Manage the team's technical support queue and help coordinate resources to support ticket resolution
  • Utilize enterprise resource planning software to generate contracts, change orders and invoice for completed scopes of work
  • Maintain working relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Monitor industry trends and maintain awareness of the competitive landscape
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in renewable energy operations, technology, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience)
  • Experience working with service desk and scheduling software
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint
  • Experience using task management tools including but not limited to MS Teams, Smartsheet, Jira
  • Experience working for a diverse, multi-disciplined company
  • Strong team building and leadership skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, charismatic
  • Must possess the following attributes:
