We are now looking for an Enterprise Architect who can help us continuously improve Volue's ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission. In this role, you will lead both the enterprise architecture strategy and cloud platform implementation, driving technical excellence across the organization. You'll define architectural standards while building the underlying platform infrastructure, working at the intersection of enterprise strategy and cloud operations.

As a key member of the team, you will design enterprise-wide architectural frameworks while building the self-service platform that enables development teams to efficiently deploy, manage, and scale their applications.

What you will be doing to make a difference

Enterprise & Software Architecture

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps, aligning technology strategy with business objectives across multiple product lines
  • Define enterprise-wide architectural governance frameworks and standards, ensuring consistency and interoperability across business units
  • Partner with business stakeholders and product leadership to translate business requirements into technical architecture strategies
  • Lead architectural decision-making processes and conduct architecture reviews for complex software design challenges

Platform Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure

  • Architect and implement highly scalable and resilient Azure cloud solutions
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and multi-region setup strategies using Kubernetes (AKS) and containerized applications
  • Implement GitOps workflows using FluxCD and infrastructure automation with Crossplane and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Define and enforce Platform Engineering, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices to streamline developer workflows
  • Drive governance, compliance, and security in cloud architectures while optimizing performance and cost
  • Manage Observability stack (Loki, Grafana, Prometheus) and implement disaster recovery strategies
  • Design and evolve project to improve developer experience, productivity, and self-service capabilities
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to engineering teams while leading automation initiatives

What you need to succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in software development with 5+ years in cloud architecture roles
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and business-technology alignment
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, SOLID principles, clean architecture
  • DevOps, DevSecOps and FinOps expertise with hands-on experience
  • Expertise in Azure services (AKS, Functions, App Services, AAD, Networking, Storage, Event Hub, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and Crossplane for cloud resource provisioning
  • Experience with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Crossplane)
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, or Java for cloud-native application development
  • Strong knowledge of API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures
  • Experience with platform engineering principles and developer experience optimization
  • Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, mentorship, and communication skills with ability to influence across organizational levels

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is 300 000 - 360 000 PLN per year, in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
