YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Survey Data Manager (m/w/d) to join a major infrastructure pipeline project at the beginning of next year. The role involves working in the offices in Kassel and Wilhelmshaven but also remotely.

Tasks may include:

  • Primary technical and coordination interface between EPC-M, project partners, and stakeholders for all offshore pipeline documentation matters
  • Advise project partners on offshore documentation requirements, processes, and documentation systems
  • Develop, maintain, and improve service specifications, tender documents, documentation standards, and guidelines
  • Manage, coordinate, and audit EPC-M activities related to offshore documentation, including organizational setup and documentation concepts
  • Ensure compliance with applicable internal standards, external regulations, and project documentation requirements
  • Review, verify, and approve the completeness, quality, and acceptance of offshore documentation, as well as EPC-M deliverables and services
  • Oversee data management, data transfer, and integration of offshore documentation between EPC-M, project partners, and our project partner's systems

REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (4-5 years) in Hydrography, Surveying, Geosciences, Geomatics or a comparable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in offshore survey data management and offshore documentation for pipeline projects
  • Proven experience with offshore documentation systems, data transfer, data quality control and geodata management
  • Solid knowledge of relevant offshore regulations, guidelines and documentation standards
  • Experience working in multicultural and multinational project environments
  • Good IT skills including CAD, GIS and MS Office
  • Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written), German language skills are desirable but not mandatory
