Your new team

You will join our Investor & Client Management team, a group of seven colleagues focused on building and strengthening relationships with investors and partners to create new transaction and co-investment/partnership opportunities.

Through our investor and partnership dialogues, we work closely with teams across European Energy to drive customer-focused business development. This includes particularly close collaboration with our M&A team and executive management. Our work is grounded in ongoing market engagement and analysis, generating insights that are shared and leveraged throughout the organization.

The team is part of our Commercial organization, which takes a strategic and holistic approach to supporting European Energy's growth and commercial activities.

In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds across the company. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of initiatives, shape your own development, and build expertise through meaningful responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration.

Your new role

As an Associate in the Investor & Partnership Management team, you will play an important role in showcasing the core technologies of wind, solar and storage and respective divestment and co-investment projects within the European Energy portfolio.

Working closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and colleagues across the business, you will help develop compelling investor materials, support business development activities, and contribute to building and maintaining strong investor relationships. This role offers exposure to commercial transactions, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities across our global renewable energy portfolio.

Key tasks include

  • Partner with senior leaders and executive management to shape business development proposals for current and prospective investors
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop compelling sales and business development materials
  • Collaborate with executive management and senior stakeholders on business development propositions for current and prospective investors
  • Maintain overview of documentation that supports all investor-oriented conversations
  • Provide ad hoc support to executive management, your manager, and Key Account Management colleagues

What will help you succeed in this role

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Commercial Law, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience gained through your professional career.
  • 1-3 years of experience in M&A, consulting, strategic partnerships, commercial customer-facing roles, infrastructure, or a related field
  • Experience in supporting negotiations and contributing to partnership, investment, or joint venture agreements
  • An understanding of deal structuring and experience working with financial models
  • Experience preparing analyses, reports, and presentations to support business development or investment activities
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Professional proficiency in English. Additional languages are welcomed and considered an asset
  • A structured approach to work, self-driven, strong commercial awareness, and a focus on delivering outcomes
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail

It would be an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience within the renewable energy sector
  • Direct experience with partnership discussions, co-investment, or joint venture agreements
