Job Description
Join us in shaping reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure. In this role, you will lead MV/HV grid connection engineering for renewable energy projects and work closely with diverse teams and external partners across the full project lifecycle.
What you will do
- Lead MV/HV electrical studies and ensure compliance with German Grid Code and technical standards
- Coordinate grid connection activities with DSO/TSO stakeholders and support negotiations for interconnection solutions
- Support construction and commissioning activities for PV plants and interconnection facilities
- Provide technical expertise for MV/HV engineering, protection studies, and cable sizing
- Support procurement activities by reviewing technical offers and contributing to equipment selection and FAT processes
- Drive continuous improvement of grid connection processes, reporting tools, and technical guidelines
What you bring & who you are
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Several years of experience in renewable energy grid connection projects or within a German grid operator environment
- Strong knowledge of MV/HV electrical design, German Grid Code, and DSO/TSO procedures
- Experience with electrical simulation tools such as DigSilent or ETAP and knowledge of AutoCAD
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working with strong communication and project management skills
- Ideally, experience supporting multidisciplinary teams across development, engineering, procurement, and construction
- Fluency in German and English
