What They Do
Sine Delta specializes in renewable energy solutions, focusing on its flagship product, **Collectricity®**, a patented bladeless wind generator that utilizes vortex-induced vibration (VIV) technology. Unlike traditional wind turbines that rely on rotating blades, Collectricity® generates electricity through vibrations caused by wind interacting with cylindrical structures. This innovative approach allows the system to capture wind from any direction without the need for orientation adjustments, making it highly versatile and efficient (source: linkedin.com). The technology is designed to operate silently, requires minimal maintenance, and can function effectively in both high and low wind conditions, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
Projects & Track Record
While Sine Delta is still in the early stages of commercialization, it has achieved significant milestones, including obtaining patent protection for its bladeless wind generation technology in Australia, which enhances its competitive position internationally (source: linkedin.com). The company participated in WindEurope 2025 in Copenhagen as part of Team Norway, showcasing its commitment to industry engagement and visibility at major renewable energy conferences. Although specific project details are not yet available, Sine Delta collaborates with partners across various sectors, including wind parks and construction projects, indicating a proactive approach to market entry and development.
Recent Developments
In late 2025 or early 2026, Sine Delta achieved a significant patent milestone for its core technology in Australia, expanding its intellectual property protection beyond Norway (source: linkedin.com). The company also participated in WindEurope 2025, enhancing its visibility within the renewable energy sector. As of now, Sine Delta remains in the pre-seed funding stage, having raised approximately €520,000, and continues to seek opportunities for growth and development in the renewable energy market (source: linkedin.com). Additionally, the company has gained media attention, being featured in articles and podcasts discussing innovation in the energy sector.
Working There
Sine Delta maintains a lean organizational structure with specialized roles, including positions such as CEO, COO, and Mechanical Design Engineers. The company emphasizes collaboration and innovation, fostering a culture committed to sustainable energy solutions. Employees enjoy benefits such as remote work options, flexible hours, and opportunities for skill development (source: linkedin.com). The company operates within a co-working environment as part of the Nordic Edge cluster, providing access to shared facilities and networking opportunities with other cleantech companies. Given its small team size, hiring is selective, focusing on individuals with expertise in engineering, design, and business development aligned with renewable energy technology.
