  • Recruit, develop, and build additional sales teams as the district grows, creating long-term expansion and leadership opportunities.
  • Coach managers and reps on in-home sales strategy, objection handling, pipeline management, and closing techniques.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of accountability, performance, and professional growth across the district.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics including sit rate, close rate, permit submission, and overall sales volume to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct weekly leadership calls, field ride-alongs, and team training sessions to strengthen sales execution and leadership capability.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement district-level sales strategies and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure strong execution of lead generation efforts, including canvassing programs, referrals, events, retail partnerships, and personal marketing.
  • Support teams in closing complex deals and maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline visibility through CRM and sales tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with operations, scheduling, and installation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to project completion.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in in-home or consultative sales.
  • 3+ years of leadership or sales management experience, including managing teams and developing talent.
  • Solar industry experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Proven ability to build, motivate, and scale high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of Rhode Island residential markets and customer buying behavior.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, performance dashboards, and pipeline tracking tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, performance-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

What They Do

The company began offering solar-specific services in the mid-2000s and has since grown to become one of the largest privately held residential solar installers in the United States, with operations expanding across the Northeast and selected Sun Belt states (source: bbb.org). Their comprehensive service portfolio includes site evaluation, system design, permitting, equipment procurement, professional installation, and customer care, all aimed at providing homeowners with effective solar solutions (source: trinitysolar.com).
