We are growing and looking for a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Energix US Finance team; if you have the experience and can-do attitude, we invite you to help us make the world greener and to take part in our hyper-growth process. The Senior Accountant will be based in our Arlington, Virginia headquarters. This role will be reporting to the Senior Corporate Accounting Manager.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage GL book, multi-tiered consolidation and financial reporting for all corporate legal entities in Energix US Group. Complete GL ownership for the Energix US corporate entities including month-end/ quarter-end close, GL integrity, trial balance reconciliation, etc.
- Own all reporting and accounting functions related to corporate debt facilities, including managing loan draws, supporting financial closings, and ensuring strict compliance with debt covenants.
- Responsible for production and presentation of the timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/ annual US GAAP and IFRS financial reporting packages and supplemental information, compliant to Lenders and Parent reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial data to identify and report on trends and key performance indicators, including analysis of the actual results vs prior periods and vs budget.
- Works closely with the commercial, construction and operations teams to collaborate on various reporting needs, gather, summarize and generate relevant financial information.
- Facilitate accounts payable process including purchase order and invoice creation; supplier approvals, ensuring proper documentation and approvals from the Management.
- Facilitate intercompany accounts receivable process including invoicing to internal customers and journal entry booking.
- Understand major contracts in the corporate legal entities and their implications on accounting and financial reporting, supporting accounting research and technical memos preparation for the significant transactions within the corporate entities.
- Facilitate external audits for timely submission of requested audit deliverables and drafting footnotes to the annual financial statements, supporting quarterly audit reviews, tax return filings, etc.
- Be an integral part of the company's continued ERP system improvement process.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Experienced and curious senior accountant with at least 3-4 years of experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Independent, discrete, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Excellent organization skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, with a positive and can-do attitude.
- Experience working at a multinational company preferred.
- Experience with integrated ERP solutions (Oracle Fusion) preferred.
- CPA or equivalent is strongly preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, finance or relevant field
- Experience in the field of renewable energy is a plus.
Work Location
This position will be based in the Arlington, Virginia office, with some flexibility of working from home.

Base pay range
$110.00/yr - $125.00/yr
