As an HR Specialist, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service by supporting onboarding, employee records, benefits, leave administration, compliance, and HR operations. What You'll Do
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, pre-employment screening, employee records, and offboarding.
- Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, motor vehicle reports (MVRs), I-9 verification, and new hire processing.
- Administer employee benefits and leave programs, including enrollments, life events, leave requests, return-to-work coordination, and employee inquiries.
- Manage badge requests, renewals, replacements, and compliance tracking.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other employment-related documentation.
- Assist managers and employees by answering HR-related questions and providing timely, professional support.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and company policies related to employment, benefits, and leave administration.
- Perform audits and maintain documentation to ensure HR processes are accurate and compliant.
- Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to support HR programs and initiatives.
- Participate in special projects and continuously look for opportunities to improve HR processes.
What You'll Need
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one to two years of Human Resources or related administrative experience.
- Experience Supporting Multiple HR Functions, Including Onboarding, Benefits, leave administration, employee records, or compliance.
- Experience With HRIS Systems (SAP SuccessFactors Preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
The wage range for Specialist Human Resources is $20.00 - $24.00.
