What They Do
Gardner Energy LLC is a small, privately held solar energy design-build contractor that has been operational since 2004. The company specializes in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, providing comprehensive design-build services that include zoning approvals, permits, regulatory compliance, interconnection agreements, and tax incentive applications. With a focus on residential, commercial, industrial, governmental, and institutional clients, Gardner Energy has successfully completed over 1,500 solar installations, generating more than 6,843,750 MWh of energy. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in their NABCEP certification, which they have held since 2005 (source: gardner-energy.com, energysage.com).
Projects & Track Record
Gardner Energy has a notable track record of completed projects that showcase their expertise in solar installations. Among their significant projects is a 950 kW parking lot solar canopy at Weber State University in Ogden, UT, which is estimated to offset carbon emissions equivalent to 57,308 trees. Another key project includes a 275 kW ballast roof-mounted system at Kay’s Creek Elementary School, offsetting emissions comparable to 16,589 trees. Additionally, they installed a 171 kW grid-tied array at Wadman Corporation's headquarters in Ogden, producing 239,999 kWh annually, which led to multiple follow-on projects. Their portfolio also features a 33 kW carport system at Wasatch Commons, demonstrating their ability to leverage existing spaces for solar energy solutions (source: gardner-energy.com).
Recent Developments
In the past two years, Gardner Energy has not publicly announced any major contracts, acquisitions, or significant developments. Their online presence primarily highlights historical projects without recent press releases or industry reports detailing new initiatives. The company has maintained a consistent focus on its established projects and services, with no documented milestones or awards beyond their NABCEP certification since 2005. This lack of recent activity suggests a stable operational phase, concentrating on fulfilling existing commitments rather than pursuing new ventures (source: gardner-energy.com, rocketreach.co).
