Based in Hobart, this role sits within the Enterprise Portfolio Office and partners across the business to strengthen project delivery capability and support Hydro Tasmania's most significant strategic initiatives. Working closely with senior leaders, initiative owners and delivery teams, you'll establish practical project delivery frameworks, build organisational capability and directly support priority programs where needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery support for priority strategic enterprise initiatives.
  • Build and embed practical project management frameworks and standards.
  • Coach and mentor project leaders across the organisation.
  • Establish consistent governance, stage-gates and reporting practices.
  • Partner with leaders to improve delivery capability and outcomes.
  • Lead communities of practice and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience delivering complex cross-functional projects or programs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
  • Experience developing project governance, frameworks or standards.
  • Strong commercial, planning and financial management capability.
  • Formal project management qualifications or equivalent experience.
