Fantastic, welcome to Alight! We're an entrepreneurial scale-up driven by a strong purpose: to kick carbon off the grid by helping businesses save money with solar.

We’re currently looking for an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a solar installation of over 200MW in Denmark. This is your opportunity to play a crucial role in optimizing our solar assets and driving the future of renewable energy!

Join us and be a part of this exciting journey toward excellence!

We're looking for you!

If you thrive in an environment that demands both strategic oversight and hands-on execution, and if you have a proven track record in solar energy asset management, we want to hear from you!

Key Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the solar asset, ensuring optimal performance throughout its lifecycle.
  • Monitor and analyze plant performance, making sure production is maximized.
  • Lead root cause analysis of plant issues and drive fast, effective corrective actions.
  • Foster strong relationships with O&M and TCAM service providers.
  • Manage contracts and optimize the performance of service provider networks.
  • Secure and maintain licenses and permits necessary for smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with lender, insurance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage warranty claims and track their progress.
  • Use cutting-edge IT platforms to streamline asset management and maintain top-tier data quality.
  • Oversee operational budgets, balancing cost efficiency with high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the financial asset manager to ensure accurate and timely payments to suppliers, landowners, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update all portfolio documentation in line with Alight's standards.
  • Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and operate under Alight's Environmental Social Governance (ESG) standards.
  • Support technical due diligence requests as needed.
  • Collaborate with the global Asset Management team to drive optimization initiatives.
  • Participate in monthly performance meetings with internal teams to discuss asset performance and improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in renewable energy or electrical engineering.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with renewable energy technical asset management.
  • Proven experience in asset management for renewable energy projects, particularly in solar.
  • Strong understanding of O&M, TCAM, and contract management.
  • Ability to analyze plant data and implement optimization measures.
  • Experience in working with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of issues.
  • Fluency in English, as Alight is an international company and our team is from all over the world.
  • Speaking Danish is necessary for this role.

What's in it for you

At Alight, you’ll be part of an entrepreneurial scale-up with a culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and autonomy. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely and manage your own schedule while making a meaningful impact on the renewable energy sector.
