Become part of our Digital Products team in Munich, where we work in cross-functional and autonomous teams that co-create products and take ownership from idea to impact.

In Platform Engineering, our main challenge is to create and maintain a platform that enables software engineers to develop, build, release, run, and monitor various products in a self-service manner. At the same time, we support engineering teams with platform usage and troubleshooting.

  • Extend and Maintain Our AWS Cloud Infrastructure: You will help us expand and maintain our AWS cloud environment with a cloud-first approach, utilizing your recent active production experience with AWS.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code Using Terraform and CDK: You will practice infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terraform CDK to automate and manage our infrastructure efficiently.
  • Support Development Teams: You will assist development teams by providing guidance and support, ensuring they can effectively utilize our platform and infrastructure for developing, building, releasing, running, and monitoring their applications.
  • Set Up Monitoring and Observability with DataDog: You will be involved in setting up DataDog for monitoring and use it for infrastructure observability to ensure our systems run smoothly.
  • Enhance Cloud Security Measures: You will ensure the security of our cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and collaborating with teams to embed security into the development lifecycle.

Who you are

You are, before anything else, a skillful technician with recent proven hands-on work in production environments for each and every of the following hard skills (no, mere theoretical knowledge or “I got an AWS cert three years ago” will not cut it):

  • AWS Cloud Expertise: You possess a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Proficient in Automation with Terraform: You have hands-on experience working with automation using Terraform/Terragrunt.
  • Experience in Cloud Security: You have a strong understanding of cloud security principles and have experience implementing security measures in cloud environments.
  • TypeScript or Python: You are proficient in at least one programming language: TypeScript or Python, and are ready to adapt to the other.

In addition, you have in you:

  • A Collaborative Team Player: You contribute to your team's strategy and collaborate effectively with other teams.
  • A Continuous Learner: You are an avid learner who continuously improves yourself and your work. You actively help others, give feedback, and act upon feedback you receive.
  • An Excellent Communicator: You communicate professionally in English, both speaking and writing. You value a well-written document and a verbal technical conversion equally.

Benefits

Join our dynamic and international team where you can be who you are. We work together in an open and uncomplicated way and also enjoy socialising outside of work. In addition to a job with meaning, we also offer you the following benefits:

  • Our bright, modern offices are centrally located and easily accessible by all modes of transport
  • We love environmentally friendly alternatives for travelling to the office! To support this, you can opt for a JobRad
  • Sport clears your head and makes us feel good! We support you with a subsidy for various sports programmes
  • We offer 30 days holiday, because we believe that time off is important
  • We enable you to work flexibly and in a hybrid way (with 60% on-site presence) so that you can achieve an even better work-life balance
  • Regular check-ins and development meetings are part of our feedback culture
