Job Description
Do you want to start or advance your career in contract management while contributing to a safe and efficient energy supply? Do you want to not only be a part of the puzzle but do the puzzle? Join our Offshore Service Contracts team and help us deliver excellence in operations and maintenance across the energy sector.
Your role in the journey
As Junior Contract Manager, you will support the execution of offshore service contracts, ensuring they run smoothly, compliantly, and safely. You will work closely with colleagues in HSE, Legal, Finance, and Operations – and gain hands-on experience in managing contract lifecycles from start to finish.
Your base will be in Bremen or Hamburg, with some travel expected to to other locations. While we appreciate the flexibility of modern work, we value close collaboration and knowledge sharing that naturally happens when working together on site.

What you will be doing
Contract handover & preparation
- Support in negotiations and drafting of service contracts
- Manage scope, milestones, KPIs, and commercial terms
- Support the Procurement Team in drafting, reviewing supplier contracts, handling claims and variation orders
- Identify key risks
Execution & compliance
- Track obligations and requirements against milestones and KPIs
- Ensure documentation, (eg. That safety certifications and work permits are in place)
- Monitor contractor and customer performance in collaboration with HSE
Change, communication & close-out
- Support variation orders and approvals, including cost/time assessments
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and legal on claims or disputes
- Assist in invoicing, milestone payments, and final contract closure
What you bring
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (Law, Commercial Law, Business, or Engineering)
- Interest in offshore service operations and contract management
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and cultures
- Full professional proficiency in German and fluency in English – essential for success in this role
