Job Description

Are you passionate about driving engineering quality, innovation, and operational excellence? We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Engineering Excellence Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of engineering standards, tools, methodologies, and culture across our Global Technology organisation. This is a pivotal role in ensuring our engineering teams deliver cutting-edge products for internal and external customers—powering next-generation wind and industrial systems with efficiency, quality, and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Champion engineering standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for engineering and design processes.
  • Develop and maintain document and requirement management tools.
  • Establish and lead design-for-quality, production, and service methodologies.
  • Drive design maturity and risk assessments across the portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other regulatory standards.
  • Conduct internal and external audits and support regulatory inspections.
  • Promote automation in design, simulation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Support CMMI improvement processes and reduce manual effort through workflow automation.
  • Provide engineering training and mentorship across the organisation.
  • Lead onboarding, career development frameworks, and performance feedback loops.
  • Facilitate engineering enablement initiatives such as design clinics and bootcamps.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in design, operations, or quality assurance within engineering or manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of driving engineering process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of system/tool development methodologies and engineering metrics.
  • Expertise in DFMEA, root cause analysis, Lean, and validation protocols.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with change management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Passion for mentoring and building a culture of technical excellence.
