What you'll do
The Communications Manager (Content Strategy & Management), owns and elevates CrossBoundary's content strategy across the Group. This role requires a proven content strategist who can translate complex investment narratives into a cohesive editorial and content engine designed to drive measurable business outcomes and position the firm as a global investment and asset management leader in underserved markets.
The Communications Manager will serve as CrossBoundary's content authority, independently managing our editorial calendar, developing data-driven content strategies, and building systems that scale our storytelling across our diverse portfolio of businesses and geographies. Alongside content, the Communications Manager role will carry our messaging and positioning through to events communications and media coordination.
The Communications Manager will function as the senior content authority on CrossBoundary Group's Communications team and report to the Director of Global Communications. This role works closely with CrossBoundary Advisory's investment advisory teams around the world, as well as colleagues across Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Business Development, People and Executive teams.
Who you are
Acts Like an Owner. Takes end-to-end accountability for the content pipeline. You do not wait for direction to unblock a stalled asset, chase a subject matter expert, or reposition a piece. You advocate for resources when the work requires them and ties that case to business goals.
Prioritizes Results. Develops content strategies that serve commercial objectives across distinct businesses. You define what success looks like before publishing, track performance against it, and reallocate effort based on evidence.
Stakeholder Leadership. Acts as trusted content adviser to partners and platform leads who do not report to them, and secures their time, in-depth thinking, and sign-off. You coach colleagues inside and outside the department and raise the professional standard around you.
Skilled Communicator. Writes and edits at publication standard with minimal review. You QA and elevate other people's work to CrossBoundary standard without flattening their voice.
Relentlessly Curious. Produces work that leads the industry rather than matches it. You track how technology, analytics, and audience behavior are changing communications, and you apply learnings to your work and how the team operates.
Manages Resources. Forecasts and requests project budgets, monitors delivery against them, and holds agencies, freelancers and production partners to quality and value. You are meticulous about where spend goes, and you can defend every line of it.
