YOUR MISSIONS

Our Operations & Service Business Line is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support our projects under Construction scope. These projects are based in different locations, such as Europe, Africa and Middle East.

  • Provide technical support in different stages of the project (development, commercial/BID and construction phases).
  • Analyse project's technical information (as RFP/RFQ and tenders) and evaluation of its impact on the electrical design of the project.
  • Propose solutions optimization, considering both technical and economic perspectives.
  • Assess Energy Yield using simulation software as PVsyst, following the rules and guidelines defined by the Solar Competence Center.
  • Analysis/comparison of meteorological data, estimated gross production, estimated net production for the time frame required (maximum PPA).
  • Elaborate electrical diagrams (Single Line Diagrams - SLD).
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (on the Electrical side).
  • Elaborate technical documents (Written Parts, Drawings, O&M Dossier).
  • Perform Technical Descriptions, Technical Calculation, Technical Specifications, Drawing for projects licensing, EPC and execution.
  • Perform Executive Designs (on the Electrical side).
  • Provide technical support during construction and execute the As Built documentation according to the changes made during the construction.
  • Assess technically and provide support on Site Surveys.

Analyse technical information or inputs given by the Power Systems Team regarding Grid Code requirements, PoCC specifications and limitations, and Grid Support.

  • Analyse the availability of a plot (Capacity Study) for the construction of a Power Plant, involving the Civil Team on the process.
  • Provide inputs to CAD Design Team for the design of Power Plants, regarding local constraints, specificities of the project, electrical configuration and technical conditions and monitor the progress of their work.
  • Provide input for the execution of Preliminary Layouts.
  • Monitor project's electrical drawings and final review.
  • Identify and follow up studies of alternative engineering solutions for project optimization.
  • Review and verification of external service provider's design and calculations, when subcontracted by Voltalia.
  • Provide market analysis (on the electrical side).
  • Maintain constant contact with suppliers for technical discussion of existing and/or alternative solutions, or under technical arrangements to electrical infrastructures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • Master's degree or Degree in Electrical/ Electrotechnical Engineering (Specialization in Energy Systems is a plus).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in renewable projects (Photovoltaic projects are preferred).
  • MS Office, AutoCAD, PVsyst domain (other Electrical Engineering software is a plus).
  • English language domain is required (French language is a plus).
  • Availability for national and international travel.
