Your Missions
Voltalia's subsidiary for the O&M and EPC third party services is looking for an Automation & Control Coordinator with the following responsibilities:
- Ensure the correct and complete installation of Monitoring System on energy power plants including the requirements for the integration on OMS;
- Ensure the correct and complete installation of Security System on power plants;
- Analysis and evaluation of requirements for automation, control, communication and telecommunication on new projects;
- Provide technical assistance during all project stages, emphasizing on monitoring and security system;
- Deliver the necessary and required automation and control solutions on existent power plants - retrofitting/ revamping;
- Ensure the technological support on the monitoring system;
- Review and evaluation of requisites for monitoring and security systems;
- Technical business development support on technical-economical offers and budget estimation;
- Creation of technical specifications for monitoring and security systems;
- Interaction with Engineering/ Design team, internal or external, for projects execution;
- Technical support for monitoring and security systems;
- Technical support on Substation communication, data gathering and data delivery to third parties (grid operator, local authorities, among others);
- Technical support on power plant telecommunication;
- Technical support on cybersecurity on energy power plants;
Testing and evaluation on installed monitoring and security - complete system assessment;
- Commissioning of monitoring and security systems on the final stage;
- Monitoring system integration on central management platforms.
Qualifications & Experiences
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Advanced knowledge in technology and renewable energies business;
- Knowledge in communication interfaces and protocols (Ethernet, Modbus, OPC-UA, ...). IEC61850 is a plus;
- Knowledge in control systems;
- Knowledge in Substation automation;
- Knowledge in network design and configuration;
- Knowledge in cyber security is a plus;
- Programming skills (SQL/NoSQL, python, scripting, ...);
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software;
- Written and spoken English proficiency (French valued);
- Available for national and international travels.
