Job Description
You will be part of Vestas Service Supply Chain Organization in our Global Distribution. The department consists of a manager and seven transport specialists or professionals. The team works across the Service Supply Chain organization with a focus on the optimization of transport solutions for the Service business.
The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are the key to meeting our commitments. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry together with a team of highly motivated colleagues.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be working with the entirety of the Service Division's transport flow, both inbound and outbound. Therefore, you will touch upon many stakeholders and work in a diverse role where you will take part in many of the ongoing minor and major matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the supply chain
- Improve transport cost reduction across the Service Supply Chain
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, ensuring operations run smoothly
- Oversee and work closely with carriers and be their point of contact
- Enable delivery performance improvements
- Secure service requirements in the transport and support daily transport and customs operations
Qualifications
- 5 years of operational experience working with International Transport Solutions within global logistics, transport, or customs
- Relevant background within transport and customs or supply chain management
- SAP experience
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)

- Able to work with limited supervision on identifying improvement areas and taking responsibility for running continuous improvements
