Job Description
At our office in Szczecin, we are seeking a Purchaser to join our Global Procurement team. A key role to oversee the entire Purchase Order lifecycle for direct materials, implement MRP recommendations effectively, and maintain strong buyer-seller relationships. Responsibilities
- Manage the full Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle for direct materials.
- Execute MRP (Material Requirements Planning) recommendations accurately and on time.
- Develop and maintain strong buyer-supplier relationships to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Maintain and update all operational purchasing core data in relevant systems.
- Identify and resolve missing or incorrect core data that could pose production risks.
- Monitor order progress and implement changes based on evolving requirements.
- Ensure effective stock management to support production needs.
- Participate in supplier scorecard meetings and provide constructive input.
- Support the Purchasing Manager in achieving strategic objectives.
- Meet agreed KPIs in collaboration with internal departments and suppliers.
- Deliver accurate reports, metrics, and data analysis for decision-making.
- Assist with purchasing-related projects as required.
Our requirements
- Proven experience in purchasing/procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to manage global suppliers.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data analysis.
- Logical, methodical, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Commitment to working safely and in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Ability to follow management instructions and company policies.
- Highly organized, proactive, and motivated to progress within the organization.
- Positive attitude and focus on using company time effectively.
