Are you passionate about solving complex technical challenges and delivering innovative solutions to customers? We are looking for a motivated and skilled Service & Application Engineer to join our supportive and engaged team. In this role, you will act as a key technical liaison between our products and our clients, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Your tasks and responsibilities will be in detail:

Repair Center

  • Analyzing the products in the course of troubleshooting (diagnostics, drafting specifications, etc.) as well as ensuring that repairs are carried out properly and carrying out the process-compliant testing
  • Giving technical advice on our products to customers, distributors and technicians via e-mail and telephone
  • Getting in contact with customers in case of questions regarding their error descriptions or to obtain missing information
  • Administrating all measuring equipment in the Repair Center, this includes taking on the organization, scheduling and coordination so that the calibration data is stored in an up-to-date form
  • Ensuring that the specified order planning is adhered to and reporting proactively deviations
  • Participating in the preparation of cost estimates
  • Participating in the launch of new products, systems or processes and in market analyses

Application Support

  • Dealing with application technology consulting and act as contact persons for the customers and technical consultants in the defined area
  • Acting on site at the customers as explaining the best possible application in practice, the different settings and stabilizers as well as ongoing tips and tricks for use and performing installations and software updates
  • Organizing, carrying out and documenting welding tests
  • Creating application welding parameters on-site at customer locations for fine tuning of parameters with respect to manual applications and robotic fabrications
  • Participation in various training courses and welding demonstrations and dealing with their implementation
  • Maintaining customer contacts and current appointments in the CRM software
  • Support office staff in preparing offers in case of complex system offers and provide on-site support to sales staff at national events, functions and trade fairs
  • Assisting in stocking demo and rental equipment and providing various services (including welding commissioning, production support)

Skills & Requirements

  • Completed technical education
  • Basic knowledge of welding technology
  • Sales techniques and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to travel (around 30%) and driving license
  • Good computer skills (MS Office)
  • Basic English level basic is an advantage
