YOUR MISSIONS

The OT Cybersecurity Technical Architect is responsible for designing and implementing the technical components of the organization's cybersecurity strategy. This role involves creating secure systems and network architectures, selecting and configuring security technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization's digital assets are adequately protected.

  • Develop and implement OT cybersecurity architectures tailored for renewable energy production and operations.
  • Design secure and scalable network architectures for OT environments, including SCADA, ICS, and IoT systems.
  • Ensure OT security strategies align seamlessly with corporate IT and cybersecurity policies, while also adhering to industry standards, including IEC 62443 and ISO 27001.
  • Implement and supervise cybersecurity tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners, in OT environments.
  • Monitor and respond to OT security incidents, collaborating with incident response teams.
  • Collaborate with GRC team to address regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and IT teams to integrate security into the lifecycle of OT assets.
  • Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs for staff working with OT systems.

Engage with external vendors and partners to ensure secure deployment of third-party OT solutions.

  • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies relevant to OT environments.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of OT cybersecurity posture.
  • Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives for new cybersecurity technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focusing on OT environments (e.g., SCADA, ICS).
  • Deep knowledge of OT systems and protocols, including Modbus, DNP3, OPC, and MQTT.
  • Proficiency with cybersecurity frameworks like IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT&CK for ICS.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection in OT environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles (e.g., VLANs, VPNs, routing).
  • Experience in renewable energy or other critical infrastructure industries is a plus.
  • CISSP, GICSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency both in Portuguese and English.
  • Availability for international travels.
