Your new team

The Sourcing & Procurement team consists of 20 Employees with different backgrounds and nationalities - and is characterized by a strong team spirit and collaborative drive.

We are an integrated part of the EPC department, which holds the overall responsibility for the design, planning, procurement, and management of our projects during the ready-to-build and construction phase. We work with professional suppliers, partners, and sub-contractors for the completion of our sites.

Your new role

The Sourcing & Contract Manager takes the lead to manage the commercial and legal track. Among other things you will perform and manage market research, supplier analysis, tender and selection strategy, managing contract negotiation and be involved in structuring activities of upcoming projects. The role will require a significant amount of interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

You can expect some travel activity, approximately 10%.

Areas of responsibilities

Category related

  • Having knowledge of the BESS market and build-up of knowledge of products and technologies through market screening.
  • Follow market and industry trends closely, trade fairs, specialist reports etc.
  • Present internal stakeholder with condensed findings and recommendations of market analysis.

Sourcing & Contract related

  • Sourcing & Procurement workstream owner for our BESS projects in Europe during structuring and execution of projects.
  • Managing RfI, RfP, RfQ processes.
  • Head of Terms drafting and negotiation, warranties, securities, Scope of Works, Division of Responsibilities alignments etc.
  • Leading the contract activities (drafting, negotiation, alignments with stakeholders and our Legal department, implementation).
  • Post closing contract management.
  • Present findings and analytics to internal stakeholders (our Project department, decision makers, M&A, ESG Team etc).

Job prerequisites

  • Bachelor or master's degree in engineering and/or business economics.
  • 5-8 years' experience from a relevant technical commercial, Project Manager or sourcing & procurement role.
  • Proven skills in procurement, negotiation, financial, and contract management combined with strong technical and commercial analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to quickly come up to speed on technical and commercial subjects related to solar projects through the full development life-cycle and transition to construction and operations.
  • Wanting to acquire the basics of a variety of subjects relating to renewable energy including civil and electrical engineering designs along with transmission issues, taxes, finance, and energy sales.
  • Proficient knowledge of full suite of Microsoft Office software; high proficiency in Excel and Power Point required.
  • Full professional proficiency in English language- written and orally.
