What They Do
OTC Flow B.V. is a private Dutch company focused on trading environmental certificates and providing advisory services to support energy transitions, rather than direct renewable energy production or infrastructure development (source: agentosaurus.com). The company acts as an intermediary for environmental certificates and has evolved from initial consultancy services in energy efficiency to a broader portfolio that will also include trading in biofuels and carbon offsets by 2024 (source: agentosaurus.com). OTC Flow offers a range of products, including Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs), Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Energy Efficiency Certificates (EECs), all aimed at supporting businesses and public entities in the energy transition (source: otcflow.com). Their services target sectors such as aviation, shipping, road transport, and energy, assisting with procurement strategies and regulatory compliance (source: otcflow.com).
Projects & Track Record
OTC Flow has not disclosed any specific completed projects with names, locations, or capacities, as the company primarily operates as a trader and consultant without owning or developing physical renewable assets (source: otcflow.com). Their activities focus on facilitating transactions in EACs, EECs, biofuels, and Guarantees of Origin (GOs) across Europe, including support for the injection of biomethane into gas grids and the procurement of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for airlines preparing for the CORSIA 2027 requirements (source: otcflow.com). Key clients are not individually named but include energy producers, obligated buyers, airlines, shipowners, and public entities meeting obligations through EEC sales or biofuel blending (source: otcflow.com).
Recent Developments
In the past two years, OTC Flow has undergone several significant developments. On December 14, 2023, the company published insights on the outcomes of COP28; on May 31, 2024, Federico Resta and Bastien Lalet were appointed as Managing Directors; and on June 18, 2024, the company achieved the status of ISCC EU Certified Trader (source: otcflow.com). Additionally, OTC Flow has published articles on key topics such as the EU Taxonomy and the implications of the CSRD, highlighting their engagement with current issues in the sector (source: otcflow.com). The company has also announced its participation in the International Energy Week 2025 in London for discussions on biofuels (source: otcflow.com).
