We are now looking for a Software Engineer who wants to help shape solutions that enable customers to make informed decisions in volatile short-term markets. You will design, implement and maintain data pipelines, take ownership of model input data management, and create insightful analyses and visualisations for day-ahead, intraday and balancing markets.

What you will be doing to make a difference
You will be part of an empowered, collaborative team where ownership is shared and impact is visible across the entire data lifecycle:
- Design, build and maintain flexible, scalable end-to-end data pipelines together with other software and data engineers.
- Ensure high data quality and reliability, implementing appropriate tooling in collaboration with data scientists.
- Work closely with in-house analysts to understand the energy domain and the data behind it.
- Translate complex data into meaningful visualisations - both for internal analysis and, together with Product and UX, for customer-facing dashboards.
What do you need to succeed in the role?

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Around 3+ years of experience in programming and data processing with Python.

- Experience with some of the following: REST APIs, gRPC, CI/CD, Docker, cloud services, Prometheus/Grafana, Airflow.
- A commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and ensuring high data quality.
- Curiosity, openness and strong communication skills that strengthen collaboration.
- A team-oriented mindset and appreciation for constructive feedback.
