Accounts Assistant

Job Description

Ecotricity New Ventures are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Transactional Finance team. This is a varied role with the core aspect being processing invoices and other transactional finance postings, accurately and in a timely manner.

Tasks & Responsibilities include

• Processing high volume invoices and credit notes
• Raising payments on a weekly and ad hoc basis
• Recording supplier payments and customer receipts
• Supplier and customer account reconciliations
• Reconciling bank statements
• Setting up new suppliers & customers
• Liaising with the Management Accountants and wider finance team
• Resolving queries and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• May be required to process expenses and other ad hoc transactional processes and postings
• Performing administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail etc.
• Use of Microsoft Office, including Business Central

Hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week and 3 days in the office at month end.

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Team Player
