Join us in this role where you'll be responsible for developing and implementing specialised tools and equipment that enable safe and efficient execution of wind turbine generator special tasks, inspections, and major component exchanges across our offshore assets.

You'll be part of the Technical Management team, where you, together with your colleagues, will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of tools and equipment solutions supporting offshore activities on a global footprint. The team delivers tooling solutions for major component exchanges, up‑tower repairs, wind turbine and drivetrain inspections, as well as foundation inspections above and below water.

You'll play an important role in

  • managing and executing the development and implementation of specialised tools and lifting equipment including elements such as design work, verifications and test activities
  • translating input from a wide range of stakeholders into clear, technical solution requirements
  • providing technical support related to tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient field operations
  • producing, reviewing, and maintaining high‑quality technical documentation for tools and equipment.
  • monitoring market trends within tooling, ensuring innovation and digitalisation are integrated into new developments
  • supporting tools coordinators with technical expertise to ensure smooth day‑to‑day warehouse operations.

To succeed in the role, you

  • have a completed degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent experience
  • bring relevant experience from a technical specialist role within offshore wind or a related industry, ideally with tools and equipment
  • have knowledge of design and development processes, including requirement setting, solution design, verification, and certification
  • demonstrate an operational mindset combined with a hands‑on, action‑oriented approach
  • collaborate confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, translating complex technical topics into clear and actionable communication
  • communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, across multiple stakeholder levels.
