Job Description

GOLDBECK SOLAR is a leading provider of turnkey solar systems on commercial roofs and ground mounted utility scale PV power plants. With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide - tailor-made with a standardized approach.

What you can expect

As part of our expansion into the Italian renewable energy market, we are looking for a Technical & Tender Support Specialist (m/f/d) to join us in building our first projects in Italy. In this role, you will work closely with the Country Manager, Sales Manager, and technical teams, contributing to the evaluation and preparation of utility-scale PV, BESS, and Agri-PV projects. The position offers the opportunity to play an active role in building our local operations and to grow into more operational project management responsibilities over time.

Tasks

  • Review and analyze EPC tender and project documentation
  • Evaluate permitting and authorization documentation (VIA, AU, PAUR, PAS, etc.)
  • Understand grid connection procedures and related documentation (TICA, STMG, DSO/TSO correspondence)
  • Identify technical requirements, constraints, and permitting prescriptions relevant for EPC offer preparation
  • Support post-permitting and pre-construction activities for renewable energy projects
  • Coordinate with project developers and internal engineering teams
  • Scout, evaluate, and support the procurement of subcontractors and specialized consultants
  • Support the preparation of technical inputs for EPC offers
  • Assist the Country Manager and Sales Manager with additional operational and strategic activities (e.g. ISO certifications, exhibitions, business development initiatives)
  • Occasionally travel within Italy for site visits and inspections

Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field
  • Several years of professional experience in the Italian renewable energy sector
  • Experience with utility-scale PV and/or BESS projects in Italy
  • Strong knowledge of Italian permitting processes and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience with post-permitting and pre-construction activities
  • Understanding of MV/HV grid connection processes for PV and BESS projects
  • Ability to review and interpret complex technical and authorization documentation
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proactive and solution-oriented working approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Availability to work remotely and travel occasionally within Italy
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to visit project sites when required
