As a Senior Corporate Communications Advisor, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement, strengthen understanding of organizational priorities, and ensure consistency in internal messaging. Acting as a strategic communications partner to leadership and management teams, you will play a key role in change management initiatives, post-merger/acquisition (M&A) integration, and organizational transformation within a fast-growing company operating across four jurisdictions: Canada, France, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

You will play an important role in

Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and execute an integrated internal communications strategy aligned with the company's vision, growth strategy, business priorities, and culture.
  • Design structured communication plans for major corporate initiatives (transformations, reorganizations, post-M&A integrations).
  • Advise internal stakeholders on the most effective approaches and messaging based on context, audiences, and jurisdictions, and support them in building communication plans that drive the success of their initiatives.
  • Contribute actively to change management efforts by ensuring message clarity, proper sequencing, and strong employee alignment.

Communications and Change Management

  • Support communications related to cultural, operational, and organizational integration following mergers or acquisitions.
  • Adapt messaging to local realities while maintaining global consistency in a multi-jurisdictional, multicultural environment.
  • Coach leaders on communication during periods of transition, uncertainty, or heightened sensitivity.
  • Anticipate internal reputational risks and support the management of people-related challenges during transformation.

Content Creation

  • Write, edit, and adapt a wide range of content: executive communications, newsletters, intranet articles, manager toolkits, FAQs, videos, and more.
  • Ensure high editorial standards, a consistent tone, and compelling storytelling.
  • Tailor messaging to specific target audiences and organizational contexts.

Internal Channels Management and Optimization

  • Manage and evolve internal communication channels (intranet, newsletters, collaborative platforms, email communications, etc.).
  • Implement innovative approaches to maximize reach, understanding, and engagement.
  • Ensure internal tools remain current, effective, and high-performing.

Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement

  • Define KPIs and measure the effectiveness of internal communications.
  • Gather employee feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay informed on internal communications best practices.

To succeed in this position, you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in internal or corporate communications.
  • Proven experience in change management and post-M&A communications.
  • Experience within a complex, matrixed organization operating across multiple jurisdictions (strong asset).
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and French;
  • Strong ability to connect strategic initiatives across projects and regions;
  • Solid understanding of human dynamics in transformation contexts;
  • Strong ability to simplify and structure complex information;
  • Proven strategic advisory and stakeholder management skills;
  • Agility, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
  • Proficiency with digital and collaborative tools and internal communication platforms.
