Your Missions

The Operations & Maintenance Technician ensures the effective operation and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) plants by monitoring KPI compliance and adhering to company procedures. It involves diagnosing and resolving technical and electrical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and interpreting technical drawings. The position also requires accurate reporting of maintenance activities, handling emergencies across assigned regions or other geographies, and supporting commissioning and start-up phases of PV installations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Compliance with KPI's contractually defined with customers and correspondent interfacing;
  • Analysis and solution of technical issues that occur in a photovoltaic installation;
  • Compliance with all company procedures and guidelines;
  • Drawings and wiring diagrams interpretation;
  • Conducting maintenance services of electrical components;
  • Failures diagnostic and troubleshooting;
  • Maintenance reporting;
  • Follow-up reports of the operation and maintenance activities;
  • Compliance with the preventive maintenance plan for all equipment;
  • Operation and resolution of all existing faults;
  • Attending and supporting to emergencies on the PV plants of his area, or any other geographies where Voltalia is managing PV plants;
  • Participation in integrated commissioning and start-up activities in any other geographies where Voltalia is managing PV Plants.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • High School - Electricity Professional Studies (preferred);
  • 3 years of experience in similar functions;
  • Knowledge of maintenance management processes and systems;
  • Knowledge of Medium Voltage and Power Electronics;
  • Knowledge of Technical Design;
  • Knowledge of photovoltaic solar energy (Wind, Hydroelectric energy or other, is also important);
  • Microsoft Office domain;
  • English Proficiency (mandatory);
  • Availability to travel abroad for limited periods and on short notice.
