Approximately 50 employees with €76 million in annualised revenue (source: welcometothejungle.com)

What They Do

Fuse Energy is a London-based energy company that began in 2022 focused on supplying cheaper electricity and building renewable generation assets. It operates two related businesses: a retail electricity supplier targeting homes with low-cost tariffs and a digital-first, app-based customer experience, and a B2B energy services arm that supports businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities with energy procurement, fixed-rate supply, and community solar solutions (source: fuseenergy.com) (source: fuseenergygroup.com). The company’s technology focus centers on solar farm development, data science for demand forecasting, and grid-market participation rather than a single hardware platform, enabling it to optimize power purchasing and supply balancing (source: welcometothejungle.com). Fuse Energy’s vertically integrated model combines solar generation with software-led customer operations to deliver cheaper, greener energy to price-sensitive residential and commercial customers (source: welcometothejungle.com).

Projects & Track Record

Fuse Energy’s project portfolio is focused on solar farm development and power-market operations rather than large, named utility-scale assets with published capacity ratings. The company has built solar farms to provide cheap renewable energy and offers community solar and energy procurement services to its customers (source: welcometothejungle.com) (source: fuseenergygroup.com). It currently supplies electricity to approximately 50,000 homes and is actively planning expansion into Ireland, Europe, and the United States (source: welcometothejungle.com). On the commercial side, Fuse Energy Group works with businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities, and is developing retail energy channel partnerships to broaden its market reach (source: fuseenergygroup.com).

Recent Developments

Fuse Energy has experienced rapid growth and significant funding milestones in recent years. The company completed a $10 million early-stage venture capital round in July 2025, followed by a $100 million late-stage round in November 2025, fueling its expansion plans (source: welcometothejungle.com). It reported €76 million in annualised revenue with 7x year-on-year growth, reflecting strong market traction and operational scaling (source: welcometothejungle.com). The company is actively expanding its footprint beyond the UK into Ireland, broader Europe, and the US markets (source: welcometothejungle.com).

Working There

Fuse Energy hires across a diverse range of roles including engineering, operations, solar development, commercial functions, and software development. Current and past job openings include Senior Backend Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Firmware Engineer, Engineering Manager for Solar EPC, Senior Front-End Engineer, Brand Designer, Growth roles, AI Operations Manager, and Site Manager for Solar EPC (source: workable.com) (source: welcometothejungle.com). The company also recruits for commercial retail energy channel partner managers, indicating a focus on expanding business partnerships (source: fuseenergygroup.com). Fuse promotes a fast-moving startup culture characterized by "fair wages," "long hours," "high voltage," and offers stock options, reflecting a high-energy environment with growth opportunities (source: f.energy).

Job Description

Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy - fast. We're combining first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We raised $200M from top-tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the Co-Founder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber and more.

We're creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.

But we're not stopping there. We're also building the Energy Network: a decentralised platform of smart devices that rewards users in Energy Dollars for electrifying their homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours, and helping balance the grid. This network strengthens grid stability - a critical foundation for scaling AI data centres and other energy-intensive industries.

We're looking for a Data Centre Manager to lay the foundation for our AI compute infrastructure. You'll be our hands-on lead technical specialist on the ground, owning everything from the first site walkthrough to the moment a high-density GPU cluster goes live. You'll take empty spaces and colo data halls and turn them into operational AI compute sites end to end.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical execution and infrastructure setup across our UK compute sites, covering power, cooling, mechanical and electrical systems, to the highest standard of performance and reliability.
  • Lead early-stage site evaluations, assessing prospective spaces and colo data halls for technical feasibility before we commit.
  • Drive the full deployment lifecycle from site assessment and hardware selection through to physical installation, commissioning, and handover to live operations.
  • Act as the primary technical presence on the floor, working directly alongside contractors and internal teams to bring each site online.
  • Execute technical fitouts end to end, including logistics, equipment rigging, rack installation, and high-density hardware deployment.
  • Install, validate, and maintain direct-to-chip liquid cooling loops and the surrounding critical infrastructure.
  • Set and enforce structural, mechanical, and electrical safety standards across every site you own.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects from the ground up, including DC fitouts, critical facility builds, or commissioning within colo or hyperscale environments. Owned end-to-end.
  • Deep technical ownership of mission-critical power infrastructure, covering HV/LV distribution, UPS, backup generation, and switchgear. Designed, maintained, or commissioned these systems directly.
  • Cooling systems depth across CRAC/CRAH, chilled water loops, and CDUs. Liquid cooling hands-on experience (direct-to-chip, immersion, rear-door) is a strong differentiator.
  • Exposure to high-density compute: HPC hardware, GPU rack architectures, or high-density data suites. Strong understanding of what extreme power density demands from the surrounding infrastructure.
  • Highly autonomous and self-directed, with a track record of taking full ownership of physical infrastructure projects in fast-paced environments.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Biannual bonus scheme
  • Fully expensed tech to match your needs
  • Paid annual leave
  • Breakfast and dinner allowance for office based employees
