We are now looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Site Manager to join our growing Technical and Commercial Management (TCM) team in Poland. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operations of renewable assets in Poland, acting as the link between field operations, subcontractors, and our internal teams.
You will contribute to the long-term performance of our assets through hands-on technical management, proactive analysis, and structured inspections. This is a key role for maximizing energy output, operational availability, and delivering value to our asset owners.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Oversee operations and technical performance of assigned wind, PV and BESS installations
- Troubleshoot issues, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure HSE compliance
- Contribute to reporting with operational insights and planning data
- Plan and perform inspections, and follow up on actions with OEMs and contractors
- Develop and maintain O&M plans in collaboration with the commercial team
- Identify and implement technical and commercial performance improvements
- Support the development of internal processes and routines
- Provide backup during staff absences and respond to operational emergencies
Your Profile
We believe you have:
- Solid technical background within wind and photovoltaic power operations and related energy/engineering fields with willingness to learn about newer technologies like energy storage
- Experience in site or operations management, including subcontractor coordination.
- Familiarity with PV & turbine operations, BoP systems, and inspection processes.
- Strong understanding of HSE standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to technical problem-solving.
- Good communication skills in Polish and English.
- Willingness to travel within Poland and occasionally to other OX2 markets.
Location & Travel
The position can be based in Warsaw, Poland, or flexible, but requires regular travel to wind farms across Poland, and occasionally other locations where OX2 operates.
