  • Assisting in Technical Due Diligence assignments for Project Finance and M&A transactions by reviewing project documentation, identifying technical risks and preparing technical summaries.
  • Supporting energy yield assessments through the review of wind and solar resource data, production estimates and associated technical assumptions.
  • Assisting in the technical review of civil, electrical and mechanical project design, verifying compliance with applicable standards, industry best practices and employer's requirements.
  • Supporting the assessment of renewable energy technologies, including wind turbines, PV modules, inverters, transformers and battery energy storage systems.
  • Contributing to the review of grid connection solutions, construction progress, commissioning documentation and operational performance, where applicable.
  • Performing engineering calculations, technical analyses and desktop studies under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Preparing technical reports, presentations and client deliverables in both Italian and English.
  • Carrying out technical research on emerging technologies, regulatory developments and market trends affecting the renewable energy sector.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Vector Renewables' international offices to support the successful delivery of advisory projects.

The position will be based in our Milan office and will mainly involve desktop analysis and technical reporting for customers and collaboration within multidisciplinary project teams.

  • Fluency in Italian and English language, additional languages spoken are considered as a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to write clear and detailed technical reports, presentations, and emails both in Italian and English.

  • Strong interest in the renewable energy sector and motivation to develop a career in technical advisory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driving license and availability to travel occasionally within Italy, if required.
