Imagine a future where you, as a Product Owner, shape the global strategy of how Ørsted executes their purchasing of everything from workwear to windfarms.
Join us in this role where you'll be part of our newly formed Source to Pay team in Digital Technology where you, together with your colleagues, will set the technical direction of the operational procurement. Our goal is to jointly ensure that the technology supporting the end 2 end processes from sourcing to invoicing, are aligned and serves the business needs. To do so you must be able to understand the entire process and potentially solve downstream issues by changing upstream actions. You'll play a key role in ensuring technically elegant and simple solutions serving both procurement and finance areas.
You'll be part of a functional team of Product Owners and specialists based across Gentofte, Skærbæk and Warsaw respectively. where you, together with your colleagues, will be supported by a delivery organisation, a Product Manager and an agile organisation that enables you to succeed as Ørsted's new Product Owner of Procure to Pay. Our primary stakeholder group will consist of our procurement and finance colleagues, however anyone executing a purchase is a stakeholder.

You'll play an important role in
- setting the digital direction (strategy and roadmap) of the Procure to Pay area in alignment with the product suite strategy
- keeping business owners and key stakeholders near, understand their current and future needs and to implement the agreed changes
- collaborating with the process management-, data foundation- and capability building teams to ensure that any software changes are being described, integrated and trained
- following the market development to ensure that we have the best possible software solutions in place to serve the business needs.
To succeed in the role, you
- have experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile product setup and can prioritise, maintain and execute on a backlog
- have strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills and are excited by the prospect of collaborating with a global and diverse workforce
- have a structured, analytical approach to your work and understand how to balance strict governance with flexibility
- understand the procure to pay processes, technologies, challenges and opportunities
- can lead discussions on data flows within our own systems in Source 2 Pay and to the connecting systems in the supply chain landscape in collaboration with the Product Manager.
