We are hiring a Services Operations Manager to help professionalise and scale our Professional Services and Support delivery across EMEA. This role will shape the operational foundation of Services, including planning, forecasting, utilisation, margin management, tooling, and executive-level reporting.
The role is hands-on by design. Initially, this is an individual contributor role with significant influence and autonomy to build and improve the Services operating model end-to-end, including data modeling and reporting in Power BI. As the organisation grows, there will be an opportunity to build and lead a Services Operations team.
The primary focus of the role is creating operational excellence, transparency, and predictability. A second focus area is contribution to the evolution of the Services portfolio, supporting the design, scalability and operationalisation of existing and new service offerings.
Experience with AI transforming Services operations, delivery and pricing is required.
What you will be doing to make a difference
Services Planning & Forecasting
- Own capacity, demand, and utilisation forecasting across Services and Support
- Translate sales pipeline and backlog into resource plans and hiring recommendations
- Maintain a rolling 12-month services forecast (revenue, margin, utilisation)
Financial & Business Performance
- Own services KPIs including utilisation, billable rate, gross margin, backlog coverage, and revenue leakage
- Partner with Finance on monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and close
- Identify and quantify margin improvement levers (pricing, staffing mix, delivery model)
Reporting, Data & Tooling
- Build and maintain operational and executive dashboards
- Create and own Power BI reports and data models
- Own the Services data model across several systems
- Ensure data quality and establish a single source of truth for Services performance
- Continuously improve tooling, automation, and reporting maturity
- Leverage AI for efficiency and precision in operational activities
Operating Cadence & Governance
- Design and run the Services business rhythm (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Prepare clear, decision-ready narratives for senior leadership
Cross-Functional Partnering
- Act as the operational interface between Sales, Services, Customer Success, and Finance
- Support deal reviews with services feasibility, margin, and resourcing input
- Enable Services leaders to focus on people leadership and delivery quality
Services Portfolio
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of the Services portfolio, where relevant
- Support the definition of new service offerings and delivery models
- Help assess business cases, pricing logic, and scalability
- Ensure operational readiness when new services are introduced
- Contribute thought leadership on how AI impacts delivery and pricing
What you need to succeed
Experience
- Experience supporting teams of meaningful scale within Services, Consulting, SaaS, or similar environments
- Experience applying AI to improve Services operations, delivery models, efficiency, or decision-making
- B2B software / SaaS background with complex delivery environments
- Hands-on experience with PSA tools
Skills
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capability
- Hands-on Power BI experience
- Ability to operate independently as a senior contributor while collaborating effectively across teams
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management
- Structured, pragmatic, collaborative, and outcome-driven mindset
- Thorough understanding of the impact of AI on delivery methodology and pricing

The position reports to the VP, Customer Services. We are looking to hire for our Volue offices in Munich, Aachen, or Berlin, while remaining open to candidates in other locations across Germany who can work effectively in our hybrid environment.
