Job Description

For our location in Freiburg im Breisgau, we are looking for a Working Student (f/m/d) in our Production & Transfer Department.

At NexWafe, we are developing a pioneering process to produce silicon wafers with fewer process steps, resulting in significant savings in production costs, energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. As a Working Student (f/m/d) you have the unique opportunity to actively contribute to the commercialisation of this breakthrough technology. Your Mission

  • Operation of characterization equipment.
  • Support engineers in running experiments.
  • Data gathering and analysis.
  • Creation or revision of work instruction and checklists.
  • Perform 5s in the office and in the lab.
  • Mechanical work, if applicable.

Your profile

  • Ongoing studies (preferably in the natural or engineering sciences).
  • Ideally knowledge in semiconductor physics or non-organic chemistry.
  • Knowledge of photovoltaics preferred.
  • English fluent, German is a plus.
