About the role
As an HR Operations Manager EMEA (m/f/d), you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR EMEA Team and ensuring a seamless employee experience across the employee lifecycle. You will serve as a point of contact for both employees and managers on administrative HR matters, ensuring accurate data handling, compliance with legal standards, and timely execution of HR processes. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for structure, precision, and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, international environment.
The position will ideally be located at our headquarters in Munich.
What you will do
- You will assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures.
- You will maintain and update employee records in our HR System Workday.
- You will prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, employment reference letters, and termination paperwork.
- You will be coordinating the onboarding process for new hires with the hiring managers including preparing onboarding materials.
- You will ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in the EMEA region.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and records.
- You will support the payroll process by being the first interface between the BayWa HR Payroll and the HR EMEA Team.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR administrative or operational role, ideally within an international or matrix organization.
- Solid understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle, and administrative compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
