Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Group Controller (m/f/d) to join our Group Controlling team, ideally from our headquarters in Munich. In this role, you will support the continuous development and optimization of our CCH Tagetik planning and reporting system. The position sits at the intersection of Controlling and System Development and requires both a sound understanding of Controlling principles and a strong affinity for technical solutions.
What you will do
- You support the ongoing development and optimization of our Group’s planning and reporting system CCH Tagetik
- You translate Controlling requirements into clear technical specifications, working closely with IT and external software partners
- You assist in the implementation of new functionalities for planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- You maintain and adapt data structures, reporting logic, and user interfaces
- You collaborate with colleagues in Controlling to ensure that system outputs effectively meet business requirements
- You take part in system testing and ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data
- You provide support and training to Controlling end-users, helping them make the most of the system
- You contribute to projects related to financial systems, digitalisation (e.g., Power BI), and process improvement initiatives
What you’ll need to succeed
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related field
- Initial experience (e.g., internships or working student roles) in Controlling
- Strong understanding of Controlling processes and logic (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, P&L structures)
- Interest in financial systems and digital tools – prior exposure to CCH Tagetik is advantageous
- Analytical mindset and structured approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Fluent in both German and English
