Job Description

GOLDBECK SOLAR is a leading provider of turnkey solar systems on commercial roofs and ground mounted utility scale PV power plants. With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide - tailor-made with a standardized approach.

What you can expect

We are looking for a Project Controller (m/f/d) to join our team, based in our Farnborough office. In this role, you will support business unit management and project managers in monitoring budgets and identifying relevant KPIs. At the same time, you will take an active role as a key user in improving and further developing our tools and processes.

Tasks

  • Support our project and business unit controlling, e.g. by identifying and analysing cost deviations and preparing relevant KPIs
  • Prepare monthly forecasts as well as ad-hoc financial analyses to effectively support management decision-making
  • Support and prepare forecast review meetings
  • Actively use, maintain, train, and further develop our ERP system (AP+), BI tool, and potentially other tools (including troubleshooting and issue resolution)
  • Contribute actively to internal projects focused on continuous improvement in ERP, Finance, IT, and Logistics

Profile

  • Several years of professional experience in finance/controlling, ideally in a project-driven environment
  • Strong results orientation and customer service mindset
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and affinity for IT tools
  • Ideally, experience in accounting or logistics
  • A holistic perspective combined with a thorough and detail-oriented working style
  • Flexible and reliable team player with a hands-on mentality
  • Strong command of both German and English
