Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist who knows how to balance cost, quality, and timing - and who understands that in wind energy, delays are more than just a spreadsheet problem.
Your qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar operational role
- Experience in an international, fast‑paced environment (bonus points for technical or renewable industries)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills - you like structure, but you're flexible when needed
- A proactive, problem‑solving mindset (you fix things before they become "urgent")
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Open‑minded, adaptable, and not afraid of change
- Very good command of English (B2/C1)
Your Role
- Run and coordinate daily procurement operations in line with FairWind's standards and strategy
- Place and manage purchase orders based on ERP demands - and actually follow them until delivery
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with suppliers (because good partners matter)
- Scout, evaluate, and compare supplier offers - price, quality, and reliability included
- Support negotiations and help secure commercially sound deals
- Keep procurement documentation, contracts, and invoices accurate and up to date
- Control and approve purchase invoices according to internal guidelines
- Coordinate transport from quotation stage to final destination (yes, logistics included)
- Work closely with warehouse, finance, engineering, quality, and operations teams
- Create, update, and maintain cost books across business areas
- Improve procurement processes and workflows - we like things better than "this is how we've always done it"
What we offer
- You'll support real wind energy projects - not just PowerPoint ones
- International cooperation with teams across Europe and beyond
- A role with real impact on cost, efficiency, and project success
- Professional environment with room to improve processes and make your mark
- Work where procurement is seen as a business partner, not just an order‑placing function
Additional information
If you believe procurement should be smart, structured, and slightly faster than the wind, we'd love to hear from you.
