As a Transaction Associate, you will play a key role in executing renewable energy M&A transactions across the Nordic region. You will support acquisitions and divestments throughout the full transaction lifecycle from origination and evaluation to due diligence, structuring, and closing.
You will work closely with senior transaction professionals and cross-functional teams, contributing to financial analysis, project management, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, originate, and evaluate M&A opportunities across the Nordic market
- Support end-to-end transaction execution, including project and transaction management
- Prepare decision materials, financial models and transaction documentation
- Contribute to due diligence processes, providing financial analysis and strategic recommendations
- Partner with our Investment Analysis team to develop business cases, scenario modelling, and risk assessments
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of the Nordic energy market, regulatory landscape, and competitors
- Engage with external stakeholders (developers, advisors, investors) to identify new business opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in:
- Renewable energy, infrastructure, or energy markets
- M&A, corporate finance, or investment analysis
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
- Solid understanding of project finance and transaction processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
