Job Description

Do you want to work with Medium Voltage AC product management in a global company supporting the green transition? As Global MVAC Product Manager, you will guide the MVAC product portfolio across its lifecycle, connecting market needs, product development, operations and customer requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and production sites while contributing to NKT's growth journey within cable accessories.

Manage MVAC product strategy and lifecycle globally

In this role, you will be responsible for the definition and execution of global MVAC product strategy and portfolio roadmap. You will ensure that the product offering is competitive, compliant and aligned with regional market requirements. Acting as the main interface between market needs and technical solutions, you will support product development, cost competitiveness, sourcing decisions and customer-related product positioning.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Own the commercial performance of the MVAC product portfolio
  • Define and maintain the global MVAC roadmap and develop business cases
  • Create Market Requirement Specifications for development and adaptation projects
  • Support cost, quality and timeline targets in product development
  • Represent MVAC products in industry forums and standardization bodies

You will work very closely with relevant functions in NKT's, predominantly located in the Nordenham factory in Germany, but also in Alingsas, Sweden. You will report to the Director of Product Management and work with regional Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, customers and external partners. Regular presence in the Nordenham factory is required and availability for international travel is expected for meetings, exhibitions and customer or supplier discussions.

Structured product manager with global market mindset

You are a clear and structured person who can balance different priorities and create alignment across functions and regions. You communicate well with technical and commercial stakeholders and are comfortable making decisions based on data, market needs and customer input. You enjoy working across cultures and functions and can translate complex information into practical next steps.

You also have:

  • Multi-year experience in Product Management in the electrical equipment industry
  • Technical understanding of Medium Voltage AC products, ideally with prior touchpoints with power cable accessories
  • Experience with business cases, product roadmaps and Market Requirement Specifications
  • English language skills for global collaboration
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office; ERP and CRM
