You'll be part of the Global Stakeholder Relations team where you, together with your colleagues, will champion Ørsted's voice in the global media landscape. Our team is dedicated to building and protecting Ørsted's reputation by engaging proactively with journalists, shaping narratives that reflect our values, and supporting our leadership in communicating with clarity and integrity. We work closely with colleagues across markets and disciplines, drawing on diverse expertise to ensure our communications are both credible and compelling.

You'll play an important role in

  • proactively leading Ørsted's external financial communications, including quarterly results, annual reports, and market-sensitive announcements, ensuring our messaging is clear, accurate, and timely
  • acting as a primary media contact for financial and business journalists, building strong relationships and serving as a trusted source of information on Ørsted's financial performance and strategy
  • drafting and coordinating press releases, Q&A documents, and key messaging for financial milestones, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
  • advising senior management on media strategy, narrative development, and risk management, providing insight and guidance to support effective decision-making
  • supporting reputation management and broader corporate storytelling, bringing a proactive and financial lens to enhance Ørsted's profile and credibility in the market

To succeed in the role, you

  • bring substantial experience in media relations, ideally within a corporate headquarter or listed company environment, with a proven ability to manage complex communications challenges
  • demonstrate a strong background in financial communications, including results announcements and investor-facing messaging, or equivalent experience
  • possess excellent communication skills in both Danish and English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
  • show strong strategic insight while maintaining attention to detail and a focus on execution, ensuring high standards in all deliverables
  • thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to change and managing multiple priorities with agility
  • excel at stakeholder management, collaborating effectively across seniority levels and functions, and bringing others along to achieve shared objectives
