Job Description

Are you ready to take your first steps into project and site management within the offshore energy industry? Do you want to develop your skills in a role where you combine coordination, execution, and hands-on operational support? Then you might be our new Project Leader / Site Lead at Semco Maritime.

As our new Project Leader / Site Lead you will join our Service Operations team, where you will support the execution of minor service projects and act as backup for our operational support line. You will also serve as second Site Lead on selected projects, gaining valuable on-site experience and insights into offshore service execution.

This role is designed as a development position, giving you the opportunity to grow professionally within project management, site execution, and leadership - supported by experienced colleagues and a strong operational organization.

At Semco Maritime, safety is a core value, and in this role, you will actively contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture while ensuring safe and efficient execution of service activities.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ in Esbjerg, with travel to project sites as required by operations. Expected travel days per year is 30-100 days. The position is full-time.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As Project Leader / Site Lead, you will support and manage smaller service scopes while developing your capabilities in project execution.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Managing and executing minor service projects within Service Operations
  • Supporting the operational support line with planning, coordination, and follow-up
  • Acting as Site Lead on selected projects and service campaigns
  • Coordinating resources, documentation, and logistics for service activities
  • Supporting planning and progress tracking of ongoing service operations
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards, procedures, and quality requirements
  • Collaborating closely with experienced Project Managers, Site Managers, and Operations

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for a motivated and structured team player who is eager to learn and develop within project and site management in the energy sector.

  • A technical or maritime education, or relevant practical experience
